Errin's April 2020 Market Update

There’s been a lot of question about the effects of the Covid 19 Pandemic on the Western Washington housing market. Here is a current Market Update with some statistics from the Northwest Multiple Listing Services for you. To answer some of your questions, YES we can still List homes and Facilitate Purchase and Sales agreements.

We have seen a setback and our inventory is low but the GOOD NEWS is we are still seeing multiple offers. Buyers are utilizing virtual technology, electronic signatures, and remote online notary processes for closing which is awesome! The "New Normal" is social distancing, face masks, showings by appointment only and only two people in a home at a time with one of them being the broker. We are thankful we can still safely be of service to our community.

Overall, we are truly fortunate to live in the Pacific Northwest, a region that enjoys a strong and growing employment base, and seems to be adjusting to a very difficult time with empathy, grace, and resilience.
